About

Frank Byskov, CFA®, CFP®

Financial Advisor and Founder

Ever since I used some of my earnings from delivering newspapers to buy a few bonds at age 12, I have been interested in how finance and investments work. Back then, investment grade bonds offered interest rates of 10% (those were the times), so the regular review of the bank statement was quite interesting.

Several years, and money long spent on sports and education, the power of compound interest and investing revealed itself in an elective college course. That was the beginning of a tilt in academic focus (from general economics towards a master’s degree in financial economics) that has continued to this day. Along the way, I have picked up additional designations to further my knowledge and credibility – the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certifications.

My professional interest is the pursuit of the intersection between an academically sound portfolio, investments that are screened for their effect on the world around us, and the personal needs and goals of each of his clients. The outcome works best when all the aspects are aligned – which requires an ongoing effort to build, monitor and update the portfolios and financial plans.

My greatest satisfaction is derived from the interactions with my clients. There is nothing better than being able to help clients conquer their goals and answer their questions in a way that leaves them confident in their decision making and creating forward progress.
